Launching on Friday the 3rd of August London Street Photography Festival is happening in London for the second year in a row.
The Festival will take place on 3-5 August 2018 at Stour Space at Cre8 Studio in East London.
The Festival features a large program of talks, lectures and exhibitions. This year’s exhibitions include LSPF 2018 contests finalists in 4 categories – Single Photograph, Photo Series, London Photograph and Under 21s; a solo exhibition of last year’s winners Hakim Boulouiz and Dani Oshi, as well as a set of curated exhibitions, featuring works by Alexander Yakimchuk (Ukraine), Yulia Rodnina (Russia), Lavinia Parlamenti (Italy) and Michelle Groskopf (USA).
LSPF runs a photography bookshop during the festival, so all photographers are welcome to sell and buy their books and zines at no commission.
In addition, there will be a workshop led by Gabi Ben Avraham and Yoriyas Ismaili, talks and lectures by established photographers such as Chris Steele-Perkins, David Solomons, Richard Bram and more. Winners will be announced on the 5th of August and will get prizes including a cash prize, a personal exhibition at next year’s festival and much more. The exhibition during the Festival will feature all finalists.
The Festival is free and everyone is welcome to attend.
