You are invited to celebrate the official launch of shado and our very first issue, Changing Perspectives: Stories of Migration.
shado is a newly created online and print publication celebrating the engagement between arts, activism and academia, and their joint role in spotlighting marginalised issues. We exist to support the voices and work of those at the frontline of political, social and cultural change.
Join us for a night of sharing, exhibitions, performances and talks from just a few of the incredible and talented people featured in this first issue.
**** What you can expect ****

* Performances – live music performances to be announced.
* Talks – Help Refugees ambassador and a stall selling their iconic Choose Love t-shirts, totes and prints.
* Food and Drink

**** A Night in support of Help Refugees ****

Help Refugees is a UK-based non-governmental organisation which provides humanitarian aid to, and advocacy for, refugees around the world. It is the largest facilitator of grassroots aid in Europe and works with over 80 projects in Europe and the Middle East.
**** Donating to shado ****
shado relies entirely on donations and the generosity of volunteers and our featured creatives in sharing their work with us.
There will also be an opportunity to donate to shado and we would be incredibly appreciative of any support that you’re able to give. What we raise will go towards Issue 2 of shado, Universal Womanhood in 2019, and will enable us to keep shining a creative spotlight on global issues.
Tell yah family, tell yah friends, sisters, brothers, uncles and aunts!
Very excited to see you there,
big love from team Shado
