Ever wondered how stop motion films are made?
In this fun workshop you will be assisted in taking your first steps in creating stop-motion animation and have a unique opportunity to make your own little animated film! You will gain hands-on experience through learning the animation techniques behind the Wallace & Gromit and Creature Comforts.
No prior experience in animation needed. This workshop is designed for beginners, as well as creatives, who want to explore this immersive medium. Kids with accompanying adult assistants are also welcome.
During the 4 hour workshop you will be:
– introduced to basics of stop motion animation,
– experiment with claymation technique via small exercises,
– design, model your own characters using colourful plasticine,
– create your short animated film.
If you wish to bring a character to life or introduce a character into a situation, you may wonder how will they move? What will they say and how will they express it? All these questions and more will be answered in this interactive workshop. If you are more interested in following the more abstract journey of objects or patterns you may have created, we will explore this as well.
Bring along a friend, your kids and your will get 15% discount of your tickets.
